Walnuts enhance the feeling of satiety and prevents overeating.
This conclusion was made by Israeli scientists.
The study participants were ten volunteers with excess weight, which five days were consumed a certain amount of walnuts.
Participants were divided into two groups. Some received 48 grams of walnuts a day, and others instead of nuts added to food flavoring. The experiment was repeated in a few weeks, but this time the groups swapped.
As a result, scientists have found that eating walnuts helps the overweight people less likely to make a choice in favor of high-calorie food.
Volunteers who consumed the nuts had noted that it was easier to control appetite.
The scientists also found that the consumption of nuts leads people to a healthier diet.
