Earlier, Ukraine has agreed with partners to coordinate effort to combat such interference.
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko instructed the Council of national security and defense provide for the meeting to counter the intervention of the Russian Federation in elections. He said this on his page in Facebook on Tuesday morning, August 7th.
Poroshenko noted that in Western countries do not doubt the preparation by Russia of massive interference in the electoral processes. In addition, earlier Ukraine has agreed with partners to coordinate effort to combat such interference.
“I instruct the national security Council and defense of Ukraine to provide for a separate meeting to combat interference in the elections. Should be ready in common with our international partners front to deal with hybrid challenges the free democratic will of our citizens,” – said Poroshenko.
Note, Poroshenko still has not announced his participation in presidential elections.
