The initiative Poroshenko supported the national security Council.
The National security Council and defence of Ukraine (NSDC) has decided to discontinue the movement of goods through the line of collision. With appropriate initiatives to the Council called by President Petro Poroshenko at the NSDC meeting on Wednesday, March 15.
“I propose the national security Council to decide on a time full stop of transport, not just rail, communications with occupied territory. It will operate as long as the invaders do not return to the jurisdiction of Ukraine stolen by Ukrainian enterprises”, – said Poroshenko.
The exception, according to the head of the state should be only humanitarian aid.
“An exception will be made only for humanitarian aid – the Ukrainian and international organizations – UN, red cross and other drugs, commodities. We must not allow deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the occupied territories”, – said Poroshenko.
According to him, the situation in the East of Ukraine substantially deteriorated. In addition, Russia recognized the passport of the self-proclaimed LDNR.
“And their self-appointed leadership of confiscated, seized Ukrainian enterprises. The preliminary cost of the selected asset is 2 billion dollars. Part owners, you should give them their due, curtailed production. And those who continue, of course, though not counting on the sale of goods in Ukraine”, – said the President.
He added that thanks to the efforts of blocking and militants, Ukraine has lost your company, “and this, unfortunately, created a new reality.”
“Temporarily, until the implementation of paragraphs 1-2 of Complex of measures on implementation of Minsk agreements of February 12, 2015, and to return under Ukrainian jurisdiction seized enterprises, to stop the movement of goods through the line of collision,” read the decision of the Council, its Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov.
