Director mcg previously, though not very often flashed in the credits of a great movie, but his work turned out to be quite memorable itself. Whether it’s a daring film version of “Charlie’s Angels” in two parts, or the fourth “Terminator”, or the Thriller “3 days to kill” with Kevin costner. Only after the weak charges of the last Director moved on the field series. Finally? I hope not – because the best of the accumulated in the Director’s experience over recent years, mcg has demonstrated in his last film, filmed for Netflix.

In “the Nanny” I want to praise all at once. Here and raging erection in the best traditions of Matthew Vaughn and Edgar Wright, and great job with the scenes, and a brisk cheerful soundtrack. Bored in front of the screen for the 85 minutes just will not work! The more that help the cause of talented actors. In their roles perfectly got all the characters down to Cole’s teasing of bullies, but the main burden lies on his shoulders. Young Jude Lewis here shows a real master-class, and even paired with absolutely gorgeous Samara weaving in the role of the nurse and Emily Elin Lind, who played Melanie, school love Cole. On “minute of glory” and got Bi friends – especially Shine in their episodes YouTube star Andrew Bachelor and five minutes to Queen Creek Bella Thorne. The actors clearly had a lot of fun on the set, drenched in gallons of fake blood!

Do not forget that in the first place “nanny” stands parnasa parody of horror films – at times more sarcastic than, for example, the recent “Little evil” from the same Netflix, and sometimes hitting in a much more daring and absurd. How do you like the scene where the dude with his shirt off first, trying to strangle the main character and a couple of seconds already explains how to teach the school bully? But under these kilograms of excellent black humor hiding quite a life-affirming story about growing up, overcoming fears (and also illusions) and the farewell to childhood. The nearest obvious Association is severely underrated black Comedy “the Penalty” in 2011, giving nods to several generations of moviegoers. And how many references to the classics! And “Friday the 13th” and “Predator”, and “Carrie” and “Halloween” in the end. However, it was not in the story and without noticeable gaps – like those moments when the hero is unclear what the reason some times misses a chance to escape, or the very strange final outcome.

But these flaws are instantly overshadowed by the excellent aftertaste. In the end, McGee gave one of the finest horror comedies of recent years. Witty, bloody, fascinating, and uncompromising, “the nanny” definitely deserves a viewing every fan of the genre. Netflix, serve still!
