Pyongyang accuses U.S. of trying to “hinder the development of the country.”
North Korea has declared that “categorically” rejected the new resolution of the UN security Council and considers it to be “fabricated” US.
It is reported by the Central Telegraph Agency of Korea (KCNA), citing a statement from the foreign Ministry of the DPRK.
The Ministry stressed that the resolution is “the product of a brutal provocation aimed to completely strangle the state and the people, depriving just rights of the Republic to defend itself.”
Also in Pyongyang stressed that the path chosen by North Korean authorities is absolutely “correct”, while the USA through sanctions and trying to “hinder the development of the country.” “We will defend our sovereignty and right to existence and further increase the power to ensure peace and security,” the statement reads.
Recall, 11 September the UN security Council unanimously approved new sanctions against the DPRK. The new restrictions include a ban on the purchase of North Korean textiles and for deliveries to gas condensates, also SB has imposed restrictions on exports to the DPRK of crude oil and refined products. The new sanctions were a response to the sixth nuclear test in the DPRK, held on 3 September.
