North Korea threatens U.S. pre-emptive strike.
North Korea will inflict a preemptive strike if the United States will begin military maneuvers.
This was stated by Deputy Minister of foreign Affairs of North Korea Han sung Ryul.
Earlier media reported that the United States will inflict a preemptive strike on the DPRK if they noticed signs of preparations for nuclear testing. China said that in war the United States and North Korea will be no winners.
“If the United States starts their reckless military maneuvers, we will oppose them by a preemptive strike. We already have a powerful nuclear deterrent and, of course, will not sit idly by before a possible U.S. strike,” said he.
The Deputy Minister stressed that the policy of the current White House administration has become “more vicious and aggressive” than under the previous administration, and said, turning to US:
“We are ready to go to war if they choose it.”
At the same time the General staff of the Korean people’s army said that the strikes can be inflicted on US bases in South Korea, at the residence of the President of South Korea, as well as on the American aircraft carrier Carl Vinson.
