The head of state believes that the project of Russian gas pipeline is a very serious threat for Ukraine.
The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said in an interview with Ukrainian TV channels that the gas pipeline project Nord stream-2, which will run from Russia to Germany through the Baltic sea is a serious threat to Ukraine, which forms the Russian Federation.
“This is a very serious threat for Ukraine, which forms the Russian Federation. The main purpose of which is not economic or energy, the goal is to deprive Ukraine of two billion dollars it receives for transit. This is revenge for Stockholm, it was revenge for drastic anti-corruption reforms in the energy sector…,” said the head of state.
Earlier, Poroshenko said that the project Nord stream-2 is a threat not only for Ukraine but for the entire European Union.
