The other day we wrote that Nokia has no plans yet to re-start production of tablet PCs, and suggested the probability of its preparation for something more interesting. In a sense, hunch was right — the Finns intend to return to release a camera with optics Zeiss.
All this means that new mobile phones brand Zeiss in the very near future will be able to remove at least no worse than their counterparts for the same price. If you recall, only 10 years ago Nokia camera Zeiss simply destroyed all the other “camera”, giving the image comparable in quality with photos taken using SLR cameras. Of course, much still depends on the matrix, and software is no less important, but I think the Finns all these issues without much difficulty.
It is believed that the first camera with optics from Zeiss will be part of the flagship smartphone Nokia 9, due out later this year. Earlier it was reported that it has dual 13 mega-pixel rear camera (one sensor is monochrome) and 8 GB of RAM coupled with the Qualcomm processor 835. Also very soon will be the announcement of Nokia 8 — frameless competitor Samsung S8 and the Apple iPhone 8 and the same may be advanced optics.
