Nobel prize winner made a strong statement about bitcoin

Columbia University Professor Joseph Stiglitz said that the cryptocurrency should be banned.

Such a statement the former Vice-President of the world Bank made in comments to Bloomberg.

Despite the fact that the Professor in General supports the introduction of new technologies in the field of Finance, he is strongly against bitcoin. According to Joseph Stiglitz, bitcoin is so popular because it can be used to get around bans.

Control the money the government should, and no one controls bitcoin is no oversight body, no, and socially benefit from bitcoin is either. And the rapid fluctuation of cryptocurrencies is ungrounded, the stability of the cryptocurrency also has. Therefore it should be banned.

Recall that in late November the exchange rate of bitcoin has set a new record, topping the mark of 10 thousand dollars. However, on 30 November, the most popular cryptocurrency has fallen from more than 2 thousand dollars.
