Streaming service Netflix has extended their two new dramas – “Travelers” and “OA” for a second season. This publication reports The Hollywood Reporter.
Sci-Fi drama “Travellers”, jointly produced by canadian Studio at Peacock Alley Entertainment, channel, Showcase and Netflix debuted in Canada October 2016 at the Showcase, while for the other Netflix subscribers around the world, the show became available for viewing on December 23.
In a dramatic series brad Wright the action takes place in the distant future and revolves around the last surviving members of the human race, who invented a way to send a consciousness through time directly to people in the 21st century. Time travelers assign to life, seemingly random people, and actually working together to develop a mission to save humanity from a terrible future.
The main roles are played by Eric McCormack, MacKenzie porter, Patrick Gilmore, Jared Abrahamson, Nesta Cooper and Reilly Dolman. Date of the premiere of the second season and the number of episodes has not been determined.
The mystical drama “OA”, created by Batmanglij Room with Brit Marling in the lead role, received mixed reviews, debuting December 16, 2016 on Netflix. The production of the series about the disappeared, and seven years later returned Prairie Johnson, which now calls itself OA and can see, although it was blind, was kept secret. Batmanglij removed all eight episodes of the show. Date of the premiere of the second season and the number of episodes has not been determined.
