Held in the U.S. the awards ceremony of the Grammy Award, the soundtrack to the movie “Star wars: Episode 7 – the Force awakens” has been awarded as the best music for visual media.
Thus, this is the fifth Grammy award, which the Hollywood veteran John Williams has received for the soundtrack to the famous fantasy Saga. The first three awards the composer was awarded for original music for picture, two for the musical presentation of film “Star wars: Episode 5 – the Empire strikes back”.
The last Grammy Award ceremony will also be remembered as one of the most controversial. So, the awards for the best album of the year refused British singer Adele. This is the second such case in the history of the award.
Note that John Williams wrote the music for all episodes of “Star wars” and at the time of this writing, worked on the soundtrack to the film “Star wars 8: the Last Jedi”. Also recall that Williams is an absolute champion by quantity of nominations on the award “Oscar” composer claimed the Academy award forty-five times.
