At the beginning of this year, the horror “Away” entered the top three highest-grossing horror films rated R in the entire history of American movies, and in other countries proved to be very good. However, it is possible, “the Curse of Annabelle: the Birth of evil” will be able to move the picture of Jordan Saw on the podium, becoming even more successful genre band in 2017?
Recall that “Off” has collected total cash in 252 162 195 $, and the brainchild of David F. Sandberg now has 253 375 598 $. But do not forget about the fact that films of different budgets: a possible candidate for the “Oscar” cost its creators only 4 500 000 $, whereas the prequel spin-off of “the conjuring” has cost — 15 000 000 $.
On the other hand, the new “Annabelle” is still in some theaters, so it might be to recruit ten million slowly, surely to establish itself in the top genre hits.
