United Airlines is investigating the death of a giant rabbit on Board one of their aircraft
A rabbit named Simon was found dead in the cargo hold when the flight arrived in Chicago airport, from London.
According to British media reports, 90-centimeter rabbit flew to the new owner – an unnamed celebrity.
United, which in recent weeks have not once been at the center of scandals, said that upset by the death of Simon, adding that cares about the welfare of transported animals.
The deaths of animals in aircraft are quite rare. According to the U.S. Department of transportation, in 2015, American airlines reported 35 dead animals.
