New Regency filmed novel about zombies in the Wild West

Interesting, though not a new situation – the Studio acquires the rights for a film adaptation of the novel, which had not even had time to go to print!

The lucky writer this time was Emma Berquist (Emma Berquist). Her debut horror novel, “Unto Dust Devils”will appear on the shelves of bookstores in April next year, but the film Studio New Regency is already saw in the story “gold mine” and bought the rights to the production. The synopsis, by the way, is really intriguing – the publisher advertises the novel as a mixture of “28 days later” and “Iron grip”.

This is the story of 17-year-old Daisy Wilcox exploring the West Texas 1870, during the Reconstruction was attacked by a deadly virus that turns people into zombies. When Daisy’s father disappears, she hires two hunters that specialize in killing infected, and starts looking.

To produce the picture will be Naira Park and Arnon, Milchan. Approximate release date has not been announced, but it’s unlikely that the film will arrive earlier books – although there are in Hollywood and such.
