Our grumbling was heard. Maybe not, however the youth Wish Upon horror and not getting this summer to film distribution in Russia, in the end, not only changed the distributor, but was a localized version renamed bland and boring “Box” on a much more interesting, and what is really there close to the source variant of a “dream”. Along the way, of course, the film appeared and the new date of the premiere.
Earlier distribution in Russia paintings John R. Leonetti had to deal with the company “Volga”, which we mercilessly criticised for the alleged “Make a wish” was changed to “Box”. Now the distributor will act as the”Exhibitor” these guys in the sense of localization-renaming too, to put it mildly, is not without sin (“the devil’s Candy”, as I recall, they have turned into “the Deathly Hallows” and the recent “Crucifixion” became a “Curse. Our days”), but, on the other hand, not once, not twice pleased domestic audience truly fit the genre releases (“the Babadook”, “It’s after you”, “Out of darkness”). Well, in any case, “dream” sounds a lot better than that damn “Box”, so thank you!
As for the new date of the premiere, now this is a movie worth waiting for 18 Jan 2018. Not so long, and so, in theory, soon will appear Russian movie trailer.
Loser of adolescence finds a mysterious box that grants wishes. Now she will get even with all who laugh at her, but what fee will ask for the box instead?
