Director Josh Boone has published in his Instagram a funny photo with “New mutants”. A reference to the legendary rock band AC/DC is obvious. The actors parody the cover of Highway to Hell, probably the most popular album of the Australians. In 1979 “highway to hell” has become rockers dear to fame.
We will remind, in November, gone from the life of Malcolm young, one of the founders of AC/DC, so presumably, therefore, the cast of the film pays homage to musicians. Maybe young people just having fun, which is also not prohibited by law.
Anyway, the story in “New mutants” really rebellious, in the spirit of the rockers:
In a secret institution against their will hold five new mutants. They have to deal with on their own, and concealed in them a danger, and also with the sins of his past. They do not want to save the world — they’re just trying to save themselves.
The photo shows all five characters being played by Maisie Williams (“Game of thrones”), Anya Taylor-joy, blue hunt (“Ancient”), Charlie Heaton (“Very strange things”) and Henry Zaga (“Werewolf”).
In Russia, the first horror movie in kynoselen “X-Men” will be released April 12, 2018.
