This reduction was recorded in 13 regions of the country.
Commissioning of housing in Ukraine at the end of 2016 decreased by 15.2% compared to 2015 – to 9 mln 366,8 thousand sq. m.
According to state statistics, in 2016, of the total 2.6%, or 242,5 thousand square meters of housing commissioned in accordance with the interim order of the commissioning of houses built without permission for construction works.
Thus, the housing excluding commissioned by the interim order fell by 1.1% – to 9 million received 124.3 thousand sq. m.
According to the report, in the cities in 2016, put into operation 6 million 502,9 thousand square meters of the total housing in rural areas – 2 million 863,9 thousand sqm of 43.7%% of total housing commissioned in single-family homes, 56% – in homes with two or more apartments and 0.3% – in hostels.
In General, during the year the group commissioned 112,576 thousand apartments with a total area of 9 million is 24.5 thousand square meters, while in urban settlements – 85,284 thousand apartments with a total area of 6 million 223.4 m thousand sq m in rural areas 27,292 thousand apartments with a total area of 2 million 801,1 thousand sq. m.
The average area of apartments made up of 80.2 sq m, while apartments in urban areas – 73 sq m in rural areas 102,6 sq. m.
In Kiev and the region, and also in the Lvov and Odessa regions by end of 2016, put into operation or 51.5% of the total housing, in particular, in Kyiv – 1 million 334 thousand square meters.
State statistics service notes that at the expense of the state budget 2016 introduced only 30.3 thousand square meters of housing, or 0.3% of the total, 42.3% below the figure for the previous year.
According to the statistics, the decline in the housing (without regard to order) at the end of 2016 was recorded in 13 areas. The greatest decrease (without taking into account preliminary data on the decline in the Luhansk region by 67.9% to 7.1 thousand sq m) were recorded in Ivano-Frankivsk region (by 39.6%, to 480,8 thousand sq m).
The highest rates of growth of housing commissioning in 2016 relative to the previous year (without regard to order) is recorded in Dnipropetrovsk (54,4%, to 272,1 thousand sq m), Zhytomyr (by 32.9%, to 165,9 thousand sq m), Volyn (by 38%, to 364,1 m) and Zaporizhia (23%, up to 102.2 thousand square meters) areas.
