The exact date of the debut of the Kia Stonic is not called.
The company Kia has extended the teaser of the new compact crossover — Stonic. The model created for markets in Western Europe, will hit the market in the second half of 2017.
At Kia explained that the name of the product is formed from two words: Speedy (“fast”) and Tonic (“tonic” is the basic sound of a musical scale). This, according to the company, emphasizes the dynamic character of the crossover, and the fact that he “brings something new and fresh in the segment B-SUV”.
According to unofficial data, the basis for the model served as the upcoming Hyundai Kona, whose premiere will take place on 13 June 2017. Most likely both of the crossover will be offered with petrol engines volume of 1.4-1.6 liters and 1.6-liter diesel engine. Will there be in the lines of four-wheel drive version — not yet known.
Judging by the published sketches, they depict a pre-production version of the model. The car, for example, the “hidden” door handles. The picture of the interior can be noted a large display multimedia system.
