Construction on the North-Crimean canal was built in a year.
In the North-Crimean canal was built a new dam that blocked the water supply of the Russian-occupied Crimea.
This dam is built on the administrative border with the Peninsula. It is noted that the water saved from the Kakhovka reservoir needs to irrigate land in the South of Kherson region.
The construction of the dam, which was built during the year, at a cost of 35 million UAH. According to experts, the construction work of the dam will continue.
“The first stage is completed. The continuation is the creation of infrastructure. Winch, duty room, security”, – said the chief engineer of the North-Crimean canal Vladimir Oberemok.
The dam is installed damper, which at any time can be opened. Therefore, when the Crimea returns to composition of Ukraine, the water will be filled with another 300 km.
