Near the city was attacked by armed bandits on foreigners

Unknown attacked the car.

In Lviv region the police detained a group of persons involved in robbery on the car of foreigners near the village of Derevach not far from the city.

So, on November 3, the police received a message that on the highway Kyiv – Chop near the village of Derevach to aliens who were driving, had committed robbery. Unknown attackers, threatening the victim with weapons, stole their money and personal belongings, and then got in their cars and left the scene.

Within an hour the police detained in Lviv a group of persons involved in the attack.

“Among the detainees were citizens of Ukraine, immigrants from the Caucasus region and one foreign country. They seized weapons and other evidence. Now circumstances of incident are established, the issue of detention of malefactors in article 208 of the criminal procedure code of Ukraine. The police have found out, that the purpose of all those involved in the event, the foreigners are in the territory of the state, if they have all the necessary documents and they do not violate the visa regime”, – said the head of the criminal investigation Department of GU Ministry of emergency in the region, Sergei Bogdanov.

On this fact openly criminal proceedings under part 2 of article 187 (robbery) of the criminal code of Ukraine. The sanction of article provides imprisonment for the term from seven till ten years with confiscation of property. Pre-judicial investigation, the police checked the involvement of criminals to commit other crimes.
