Near Luhansk the Ukrainian military five hours fought with the enemy

Over the past day the militants of 21 times violated the truce.

The situation in the ATO area remains difficult. The Russian occupation forces continue shelling the positions of ATO forces with mortars of various calibers and heavy artillery, which banned the Minsk agreements.

On Lugansk the direction of Svetlodarsk arc remains unstable confrontations. Here, in the village of Lugansk, the intensity of the shelling with mortars of various calibers and the entire spectrum of infantry weapons the largest and, with a few interruptions, lasted in fact for all of yesterday’s day. In this area there was a clash that lasted over five hours. Our soldiers repulsed the attack of the subversive-reconnaissance group of the invaders from the 7-th separate motorized rifle brigade of the 2nd Army corps of the southern military district of Russia. As a result of battle, the enemy suffered losses – one killed and two wounded. Also, in this area the enemy from heavy machine guns harassed the defenders Novoluganskogo.

Endangering the civilian population, the occupants fired from artillery of 152 mm caliber the outskirts of Vrubivka – the settlement, located a few kilometers from the contact line. These treacherous actions of Russian occupation troops crudely violating the Minsk agreements.

More than two dozen mines of calibre of 120 mm were fired by the enemy at the fortifications of the Ukrainian soldiers near the Crimean and Priceprice.

At Donetsk direction the enemy 82-mm mortars and infantry weapons repeatedly fired at strong points near the Sands of the Heater.

In General, during the last day recorded 21 violations of the cease-fire by the invaders. In case of need the Ukrainian military was giving the aggressor an adequate response.

As a result of enemy shelling, three soldiers of the Armed forces of Ukraine were injured. They are delivered in medical institutions.
