Near Kherson the man was beaten to death with a sledgehammer

The suspect is detained and gives evidences

In the Kherson region wage worker repeatedly struck with a sledgehammer man. The result of the received traumas the victim died.

“The duty of Hola Prystan police Department received a report that in one of the villages happens, a quarrel, a man calling for help. Investigative team arrived at the call and found in the yard the body of a 61-year-old owner of the house with signs of violent death. Within hours, police identified the suspect and arrested him”, – stated in the message.

While interviewing neighbors, police managed to establish that day from the yard of the victim ran out the unknown man.

During the course of the settlement on one of the streets of the village, the police saw the man similar to the suspect. He was detained, his identity was established.

“Arrested was 36-year-old employee of the victim, previously convicted for property crimes,” – said the chief of sector of criminal investigation Department of Hola Prystan police Department of the Main Directorate of the National police in Kherson region Dmitry Grigorash.

According to the detainee, he came to work, the owner was drunk and began to insult him. During the conflict the suspect grabbed a metal hammer and struck the victim several times.

The result of his injuries the man died.

The malefactor is detained as article 208 Criminally-the procedural code of Ukraine. Open criminal proceedings under part 1 of article 115 of the Criminal code of Ukraine “Premeditated murder” (punishable by deprivation of liberty for a term of seven to fifteen years).

As previously reported, in Kiev, beaten to death man. His body was found at the intersection of Elenkoval and Chernihiv. Now identity is established.
