The man was beaten to death.
At the Central cemetery of the town of Kozelec Chernihiv region law enforcement authorities found the body of a man with a plastic bag on his head.
This reports the press service of the police of the region.
“Militiamen identified the personality of the deceased – he was a resident of one of villages of the district. Of the violent nature of the victim’s death testified and injuries on the male body multiple abrasions of the head and traces of blood. Later forensic examination pronounced death due to a fracture of the cranial vault and brain hemorrhage,” – said the press service.
As a result of operative-investigative activities, forensic came to the killer is a previously convicted resident of Kozelets. The suspect confessed to the crime and gave truthful testimony.
“The man told me that three days before that, he hosted the guest. During a conversation in a raised voice there was a conflict, which escalated into a fight. The owner of the argument used the stick, which beat the guest to death. Then for two days I hid the body in the cellar. And on the night of 9 Jul secretly took the corpse to the Central cemetery”, – have informed in police.
Now the suspect is detained. Investigators opened criminal proceedings as regards 1 article 115 of the Criminal code of Ukraine (murder). To the suspect threatens till fifteen years of imprisonment.
