In January-April the number of banks decreased from 96 to 90.
The number of commercial banks in Ukraine in January-April decreased from 96 to 90.
This is evidenced by the reported data of the National Bank.
So, in April the number of banks dropped from 92 to 90 (may 1), and since the beginning of the year with 96.
In April the market was withdrawn Finbank and first investment Bank.
In the 1st quarter of the banking market left platinum Bank, Bank people’s capital, Fortuna-Bank, Vector Bank.
Of the 90 banks – 38 banks with foreign capital and 17 with 100% incapital (January 1, 2017 – 38 and 17 respectively).
