Until the end of the year Ukraine may receive two billion from the IMF, 580 million from the EU and $ 900 million from other donors.
The national Bank expects the end of the year to receive from the international donors of 3.48 billion. This is stated in the annual report on the activities of the financial stability Board of the NBU, published on Monday, September 10.
“Until the end of the current year expected amount of financial assistance from major international donors is of 3.48 billion. USA. Of these, 2 billion. USA – from the IMF and 0.58 billion us dollars. USA – EU, Ukraine expects to receive in the new (fourth) program macro-financial assistance”, – the document says.
According to the report, the new program will complement the previous three operations macro-financial support of the EU, which have been implemented since the onset of the crisis in 2014 in which Ukraine was allocated € 2.8 billion.
The national Bank noted that the delay in the implementation of the cooperation program of the IMF may create risks for macro-financial stability in the medium term.
“The Council noted the need to resume cooperation with the IMF. The members of the Council stressed the need for timely implementation of reforms, foreseen by the program of cooperation with the IMF, and noted that delays in program implementation can create significant risks for macro-financial stability in the medium term,” the report says.
