The national Bank of Ukraine denies the information about the possible dismissal of Valeria Gontareva as head of the NBU this week.
This is stated in the statement of the press service of the NBU.
“In response to media queries, the press service has not confirmed the information on resignation of the Head of the NBU Valeria Gontareva,” – said in a statement.
The press service of the regulator said that the Bank is traditionally the month reports about the upcoming changes in the composition of the Board.
“This message is not displayed, and hence the information is not true.Now all members of the Board work according to plan and have a tight schedule of work”, – stated in the message.
