Gross external debt of Ukraine in the first quarter of 2017 amounted to 113,643 billion dollars, $ 125 million, or 0.1%, higher than at the beginning of the year. This was reported on the website of the NBU.
In particular, the debt of the General government sector in the first quarter increased by 0,2% – to 36.45 billion dollars, the Central Bank debt increased by 2.5% to 6.40 billion.
The debt of other Depository corporations decreased by 5.7 percent to 8.45 billion dollars, the debt of the other sectors has remained virtually unchanged for the quarter, made up of 53.30 billion. Direct investment (mazvimavi debt) in the first quarter rose 4.9 percent to 9.04 billion.
