NATO: rossm broadcast fake information

NATO has counted 32 of the myth of the Russian propaganda about the Alliance.

NATO accused Russia of escalating disinformation campaign in 2014, when it was occupied the Crimea and noted that such resources as Sputnik and RT constantly spread false news.

This was stated by the official representative of the Alliance Oana Lungescu.

High-ranking officials of NATO and the EU expressed concern about the ability of Russia to use television and the Internet to spread fake information.

According to Lungescu, NATO counted 32 fake Russian propaganda about the Alliance, which are relayed via Sputnik, RT and other Kremlin-controlled media.

“NATO has to deal with a significant increase of Russian propaganda and disinformation, which has increased with the illegal annexation of Crimea to Russia in 2014,” said Lungescu.

According to him, the last disinformation, this is when a Russian news site life.ru published a fabricated voice recording NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg with a Russian prankster who pretended to be the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
