Nasirov spoke about the reduction of income tax in Ukraine

According to the chief tax specialist of Ukraine, the pit rate can be reduced to 15%.

Reduction of tax on income of individuals (pit) can become a stimulus for shadowing and allow to fill the budget. This was stated by the head of the State fiscal service Roman Nasirov.

“For shadowing of wages – my personal opinion – we can talk about lowering personal income tax rate. Though not much, but one percentage point exactly. To reduce possible now,” he said.

According to him, the legalization of need to encourage.

“My personal opinion is that even with the existing pace of legalization we could lower the rate until at least 17%, and in absolute number we collected would be more in budget revenues due to the moral effect of reducing the load,” — said the head of the SFS.

Further, according to Nasirov, the rate can be reduced to 15%.

He also noted that the development of tax policy should involve the Ministry of economic development, because tax rates, including impact on the investment attractiveness and competitiveness of the state.

2016 personal income tax rate was the same for most types of income, including wages, is 18%. In addition, for dividends, inheritances (gifts), income from the sale of movable and immovable property there have been separate rates. Before the salary is taxed on income of individuals for amounts less than 10 MW at the rate of 15% for wages of more than 10 MW — 20%, but only in excess.
