Taken into custody suspended the head of the State fiscal service Roman Nasirov did not intend to post bail and be released, said his lawyer Alexander Lysak live espresso.TV.
“The introduction [of the collateral] may mean that we agreed with the message of suspicion. The appellate court will consider the case. Then why make an appeal if bail” – he said.
According to him, an appeal from the decision of Solomensky court of Kiev about the arrest Nasirova was introduced on 7 March.
“The first session to be held on Friday. Full text of the decision on election of a preventive measure we will receive tomorrow and we will have to Supplement the appeal,” said lisak.
Recall, the Solomensky district court Nasirova was arrested for two months with possibility of bail in the amount of one hundred million hryvnia. Specialized anti-corruption prosecutors vowed to appeal the verdict to increase the amount of collateral to Nasirov up to UAH 2 billion.
Thus, the representative of ARS Roman Simkiv said earlier that the prosecution is satisfied with the court decision, but did not rule out an appeal.
Nasirova charged with abuse of power or official position. This is due to the decisions of the President of the SFS on the installment plan of tax debts of enterprises related to people’s Deputy Oleksandr Onishchenko.
MP Onishchenko suspected of organizing the schemes of theft of funds in the extraction and sale of natural gas in the framework of agreements on joint activities with the state company “Ukrgazdobycha” in which the state suffered damage amounting to about three billion hryvnia.
Onishchenko had to leave Ukraine before the Verkhovna Rada of July 5, stripped him of parliamentary immunity and consented to his prosecution.
