NASA showed two overlapping galaxies

They sweep past one another at a rate of about two million kilometers per hour.

European astronauts, along with the American collname found a few unusual galaxies with the Hubble space telescope, reported on the website NASA.

Scientists have named the object in the constellation of the Hare IRAS 06076-2139. However, it turned out that it consists of two overlapping galaxies.

They sweep past one another at a rate of about two million kilometers per hour. Experts believe that it is too fast, so they can merge and form a single star cluster.

At the same time, it is noted that the objects share 20 thousand light years is a relatively small distance in space, therefore gravity will change their structure.

NASA’s remind that the interaction of galaxies can take many forms, including cannibalism or collision. Astronomers add that our milky way galaxy in 4.5 billion years and should merge with Andromeda Galaxy.
