NASA showed the sunset and sunrise on Mars

Mars lander of NASA’s InSight photographed the amazing landscapes of the red planet.

The footage captured the amazing sunrise on Mars, reported on the website NASA.

As a “bonus” camera Instrument Deployment Camera (IDC) on the robotic arm of the space ship under the deck of the probe was also able to remove the clouds floating across the Martian sky at sunset.

Camera InSight took of the sunrise on Mars is 24 April 2019 at about 5:30 a.m. local time.

Images are available in raw version – they are easier to see some details, and in color, which more accurately show how they will be able to see the human eye. As can be seen in the footage, much farther away from Mars than from Earth, the Sun seems to be two-thirds smaller, we used to see on Earth.

“For missions to Mars is traditionally removed sunrises and sunsets,” said a researcher at the InSight group at the jet propulsion laboratory of NASA in Pasadena Justin Maki.
