This spot is several times larger than the Earth.
NASA published a photo taken by the “Juno”, which investigated the cloud cover of Jupiter, which shows the Great red spot.
“These long-awaited images of the Great red spot of Jupiter is a perfect combination of art and science. We are happy to share with all the beauty and excitement of space science,” according to NASA.
“We now have the best photos. We need some time to analyze all of the data and to shed some new light on the past, present and future of the Great red spot,” said Scott Bolton, principal investigator.
Noted, the great red spot of Jupiter is 1.3 times bigger than Earth.
