NASA revealed the unique the South pole of Jupiter

The picture was taken at a distance of more than 52 thousand kilometers from the planet’s surface.

The picture was taken by the “Juno” at a distance of 52.2 thousand kilometers from the surface of Jupiter 11 Dec 2016, but NASA released it just now.

“Juno” was launched on 5 August 2011 from Cape Canaveral, it is part of the program, New Frontiers . To “Juno” on the orbit of Jupiter worked the Galileo probe, but “Juno” was the first in history to make a flyby of the planet through its pole.
