NASA revealed the unique images of Saturn’s rings

Recently, NASA scientists received a unique color photographs of Saturn from space research unit Cassini.

Earlier, NASA experts have published an unusual picture of Saturn’s rings, made from a height of 76 thousand kilometers above Saturn. The photo was taken on July 6 of this year.

The picture shows the natural colors of the ring S. For scientists remains a mystery why Saturn’s rings have a beige color, although they consist mainly of ice and cosmic dust. Interesting fact that from another angle of the ring you would never notice because they blend in color with the planet. The closer the rings are to the planet, the richer their colour, so the photos of the ring refers to the cover plates of alternative music 80-ies.

We will remind that after some time, the spacecraft Cassini will cease to exist: he’s programmed to crash on 15 September of the current year. The mission to study the Saturn lasted for 20 years, during this time, with the help of scientists got a lot of new data about the planet.
