The robot will study the planet covered with a crust of ice
Experts from the National administration on Aeronautics and research of space presented their new products in the field of research of space objects, covered with a crust of ice.
2015 jet propulsion Laboratory NASA is developing a robot suitable for studying of space objects, covered with a crust of ice. The first studies in this issue demonstrated at the press conference, and videos of their work posted on the official website of NASA.
Each American engineers prototype focuses on obtaining samples from the surface of the moons, covered with a crust of ice, or of the strata of the crust at some depth.
In the Solar system to the moons are Europa (moon of Jupiter), Enceladus and Titan (moons of Saturn). Robots, learning it will face many difficulties: the temperature over one hundred degrees below zero, ice, which behaves under the wheels as sand, as well as high levels of radiation.
