The us space Agency NASA and Space center the Lyndon B. Johnson has posted an interesting video test of the Martian humanoid robot.
This robot was developed by engineers at the Johnson center to send to Mars. He got the name “Valkyrie” (Valkyrie). The height of the robot is 1.9 meters, weight 125 kilograms. It is equipped with numerous sensors as well as camera and lidar in the head.
It is reported that the robot was designed in the heart of Johnson, and the control algorithm and software developed at the Institute IHMC Robotics.
“Valkyrie” there are about 200 sensors around the body. The software allows the robot to assess their information and choose the one flat surface for the next step.
Work on the improvement of “Valkyrie” is still ongoing, and the creators of the device believe that the robot will greatly help in the study of Mars.
