NASA want to create almost the earth’s atmosphere on Mars to protect future colonists from radiation.
“Mission Mars 2020 Rover, which will take place in a few years, plans to study the issue and to check the possibility of obtaining oxygen from the atmosphere of the red planet. If this project is successful, then sooner or later the planet will terraform and make Mars red green and blue”, – stated in the message.
Recall that the Martian atmosphere is only 0.13% oxygen, 95,32% carbon dioxide, 2.7 percent nitrogen, 1.6% argon, while in earth – 78% nitrogen and 21% oxygen. Therefore, the NASA experiment will confirm or deny the possibility of terraforming.
