In Naples visit of the leader “Northern League” caused the riots.
Demonstrations in the city were largely peaceful, but clashes erupted after a small group of people in masks began to throw Molotov cocktails and other objects at police.
The police in response fired tear gas and water cannons. According to police, in clashes injured 25 police, six people were arrested.
Salvini decided to hold a rally of his party in Naples on Saturday, despite a planned protest. This is the first time he planned to speak publicly in southern Italy.
