Doctors advise to eat slowly.
Researchers from Japan conducted a large-scale experiment and found out why some people are faster than others gaining extra weight.
The researchers observed the diet of three thousand people. They found that a person’s weight depends on how fast he eats.
People who eat too fast the feeling of fullness occurs much later. Because of this, they are more likely to overeat. Studies have shown that men who eat fast, the risk of weight gain increases by 84%, women – 50%. People who eat quickly until full saturation, the risk to fat three times more than those who eat slowly.
Nutritionists have tried to understand the nature of this phenomenon. They came to the conclusion that the rush during the meal knocks the signal system of the body, and then people begin to overeat.
