Company experts International SOS and Control Risks built the list of countries that pose the greatest danger to travel in 2017. Among the most adverse specified Somalia, Syria, Afghanistan and others. Ukraine appears in the list as the country with the average level of risk.
Experts have also created an interactive map, where countries are highlighted in different colors, depending on the threat level.
According to the rating, the most dangerous countries were Libya, the Central African Republic, South Sudan, Somalia, Syria, Yemen, Afghanistan and others.
Slightly less dangerous are Chad, Pakistan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Libyan desert in Sahara.
Ukraine, along with many post-Soviet countries, marked by a medium level of threat. In one row there are also Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, India, Saudi Arabia, Brazil.
In turn, the most safe called France, Spain, Italy, Poland, Canada and the United States.
When calculating the level of threat in each country, the experts took into account several criteria, among which: the number of disasters, the effectiveness of security forces and emergency services, reliability of transport infrastructure.
