The first production Ferrari with a hybrid power plant became the LaFerrari.
At the end of this month, the company Ferrari will present the second of the five models, the presentation of which is planned for this year. The novelty will be located on top of the current ruler and “will offer buyers a sophisticated design combined with the dynamics of the supercar”.
About the new flagship model during the conference call for the first quarter of 2019, said the current head of the brand Louis Carey Camilleri. According to him, it would be a hybrid, which will be located above 812 Superfast. The car will not be a replacement for the 488, but will be completely independent model.
Supercar equipped with 6.3-liter V12 engine (800 HP) and 163-horsepower electric motor.
According to rumors, the new supercar will be equipped with benzoelektrosila power plant on the basis of the twin-turbo V6. Its impact will amount to 733 horsepower and 1085 Nm of torque (according to other information, the basis of the power plant will be a 3.9 V8 from 488 Pista). For comparison, the 812 Superfast under the hood is a 6.5-liter, naturally aspirated V12, which produces 800 forces and 718 Nm of torque. From zero to “hundred” coupe accelerates in 2.9 seconds and its maximum speed is 340 kilometers per hour.
