Foreign exchange reserves of the National Bank of Ukraine to date exceed $ 18 billion. This was stated by the President Petro Poroshenko during the meeting of the National investment Council, the press service of the head of state.
“National Bank’s international reserves exceed $ 18 billion, whereas at some point in the fifteenth year they shrunk to almost five and a half. Therefore, during this time, they have grown almost in three and a half times,” he said.
According to Poroshenko, Ukraine today has a 82 “strong and solvent banks,” 39 of them are banks with foreign capital, and 20 – with 100% foreign capital.
