Today, 20 September, a meeting of the Commission on names of the KSCA, in which the Commission endorsed the renaming of several streets and buildings in the capital.
This is stated in the official message on the website of the KSCA.
To the city Council in the near future will be sent a draft decision on the renaming of the street Wanda Wasilewska in the street of Bohdan Hawrylyshyn.
In addition, held a public discussion and submitted to the city Council the following renaming:
the streets of Kirovohrad at St. Vladimir Brozhky;
the October street in St. Sulimovskiy;
lane Panfilov St. job Boretsky;
street Anri barbyusa in St. Basil Tyutyunnik;
street of Marshal Zhukov to street of the Kuban Ukraine;
street Nicholas Mateyko on St. Basil Ivanisov;
assignment to Park on the street Sich Riflemen, 27 the name “Park Canada”;
renaming the Park of Andrei Ivanov in the Park of the “Latvian”;
the assignment of the square between Zhilyanskaya str street, Tarasovskaya behalf of Dimitri Peshev;
renaming the subway lines “Kurenivsko-Chervonoarmiiska” with “Obolon-Cheremkhovskoe”.
Also names will receive 34 new street.
It is noted that the public comment sent to the following suggestions for change:
the streets of Pavel Pestel str Brotherhood Tarasivtsi;
the streets of Saratov in the street Heroes of the Market;
library Wali Cat in honor of Ivan Grigorovich-Barsky;
Kurskaya street in St. Gennady Vorobyov;
street Melnikova in St. Yuri Ilyenko;
street Zhelyabova in St. Maria Kapnist;
streets in Alexandra Saburova str Serge Lifar;
of Clinical street in St. Gennady Knyshov.
