This week Google introduced a release version of the Android O.
Operating system, named after the iconic cookie, has received a fair amount of innovation.
Most likely, before the end of this year, many manufacturers will begin to release updates for their devices. But who among them will be the most agile?
“We work closely with our partners, and by the end of this year, many manufacturers of hardware platforms, including Essential, General Mobile, HMD Global, Huawei, HTC, Kyocera, LG, Motorola, Samsung, Sharp and Sony are planning to introduce a new device running Android Oreo and release the update for existing” — said Google representatives held a press conference.
An important qualifier in this case is promise is to update existing devices, not only to introduce new ones. This implies that these producers will likely begin to deploy the update in the near future. In this regard, we have every reason to believe that one of the first smartphones that will be updated to Android Oreo, will be the upcoming Galaxy Note 8, whose release will take place already today.
Followed update get LG V30 and the entire line of Nokia smartphones. This, in particular, representatives of the Global HMD owning a Finnish brand. It is curious that Google chose to ignore the topic of the likely cooperation with Xiaomi. In this regard, we can make the assumption that the future Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 will be updated to Android Oreo a very long time.
