Named best game of E3 2018

The remake of Resident Evil 2 was named best game of E3 2018.

A remake of the horror survival Resident Evil 2 from Capcom was named the best game of E3 2018, which took place last month. Victory in two categories celebrated Marvel’s Spider-Man, Anthem, Cyberpunk 2077 and The Last of Us Part II.

best fighting game — Super Smash Bros. Ultimate;
best racing game — Forza Horizon 4;
best sports game — FIFA 19;
the best strategy — Total War: Three Kingdoms;
best social/family game — Overcooked 2;
the best game with online multiplayer — Battlefield V;
best indie game — Ori and the Will of Wisps;
the best game with long term support — Fortnite;
special award for graphics — Cyberpunk 2077, The Last of Us Part II and Ghost of Tsushima;
special award for the sound —The Last of Us Part II;
special award for innovation — Cyberpunk 2077.

On the official website of the event specifies that the voting was not all exhibition games, but only those in which journalists could play in person. Because of this, the list is not ranked, for example, Cyberpunk 2077, The Last of Us Part II, Death Stranding, Devil May Cry 5, Dying Light 2, Fallout 76, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, Control, Ghost of Tsushima and Gears 5. However, an exception made for them in three special categories.

The expert jury chooses the best game of E3 2018, with representatives from more than fifty of the most famous gaming magazines and online portals: IGN, GameSpot, Polygon, Kotaku, Eurogamer, Game Informer, PC Gamer, Gambling and other.
