In just 9 month of the current year Naftogaz bought 17.5 billion cubic meters of gas.
National joint stock company Naftogaz of Ukraine since the beginning of the year imported from the European market to 7.1 billion cubic meters of gas, 53%, or 2.4 billion cubic meters more than in the same period of 2016.
About it reported in a press-service of the company.
“In the structure of procured gas volumes in the current year the share of imports made up 41% of gas purchased from state-owned gas company Ukrgazvydobuvannya – 59%,” – said in a statement.
So, just for the first 9 months of the current year Naftogaz bought 17.5 billion cubic meters of gas, which is 3.1 billion cubic meters over the first 9 months of the previous year.
Purchasing gas was conducted from 12 suppliers from Germany, Switzerland, France, UK, Czech Republic, Poland and Italy.
None of these companies not put more than 30% of the volume of imported gas.
It is also noted that the supply of imported gas to Ukraine from Russia in 2016 and 2017 is not carried out, all amounts of gas received from Europe.
