Naftogaz has paid 1.5 times more in taxes last year

Naftogaz of Ukraine for the year paid to the state budget of 106 billion UAH.

State of Naftogaz of Ukraine and its member companies paid to the state budget of 106 billion UAH of taxes and dividends in 2017. This is 1.5 times more budget payments for the year 2016.

This was reported by press service of the company.

Taxes Naftogaz amounted to about 14% of state budget revenues in 2017. Thus, NAC is the largest taxpayer in Ukraine.

In particular, the charges include 14,3 billion UAH of income tax, 30.2 billion UAH VAT, UAH 33.9 billion in rent payments, and 13.3 billion UAH of dividends.

“For comparison, the budget of the Ministry of defense of Ukraine in 2017 was equal to 68,8 billion UAH, and the amount funded by the state budget subsidies for the used gas is 51.1 billion UAH”, – noted in the NAC.

Earlier, NAC reported that Ukraine earned nearly 25 billion on gas transit through the Ukrainian gas transportation system (GTS) in the first 9 months of the current year.

Recall that the net profit of Naftogaz as a separate legal entity in 2016 amounted to 26.5 billion UAH against a net loss of 27.7 billion in 2015. the Net income of the NAC in the past year rose by 43.1% to 161.4 m billion.
