“Naftogaz” has increased the purchase price of domestic gas

«Нафтогаз» увеличил цену закупки отечественного газа“Naftogaz of Ukraine” to increase the offer price for the purchase of gas produced domestically.

“Naftogaz of Ukraine” in August of 2018 plans to purchase natural gas in the domestic private gas producing companies at a price of 209.00 8 UAH per thousand cubic meters (without VAT), which is 121 UAH more from the previously announced prices on August. It is reported, “Naftogaz of Ukraine”.

“Taking into account the proposals of the market participants of the NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine” to increase the offer price for the purchase in August of this year, natural gas produced domestically by private gas companies of Ukraine 8 088,00 of 209.00 to 8 UAH per thousand cubic meters (without VAT)”, – stated in the message.

In July, Naftogaz announced a test purchase of gas at a price of 629.00 7 UAH per thousand cubic meters (without VAT), in June – for the price of 6 900,00 UAH per thousand cubic meters (without VAT). Despite the fact that in summer season the demand for gas has traditionally been low, Naftogaz has not received any offers from gas suppliers. Therefore, the company increased the proposed price for August.

As reported, according to the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from March 22, 2017 No. 187 “On approval of the regulation on imposing special obligations on the subjects of natural gas market to ensure that the public interest in the operation of the natural gas market”, gas selling price to meet the needs of the population 4 942 UAH per thousand cubic meters (without VAT).
