According to the head of the NAB, the case of PrivatBank is now under special control: there is a danger of causing great damage to the state.
The final stage in the case of embezzlement of funds PrivatBank is expected in September of this year. This was stated in an interview with Radio Liberty head of the National anti-corruption Bureau (NAB) Sytnyk.

5 August Pechersky district court of Kyiv ordered the Prosecutor General’s office to resume the investigation against the former head of the National Bank of Ukraine Valeria Gontareva.
The NAB is investigating the criminal proceedings on the facts of possible abuse of official position of officials of the NBU, as well as PrivatBank misappropriation of funds in especially large size, advanced management and owners of the Bank. According to investigators, the state suffered losses amounting to $ 116.8 billion UAH.
